I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine, ZOT ZOT ZOT! My industry experience ranges from cell and gene therapy, medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, I had a minor in Innovations and Entrepreneurship as I hope to grow as an entrepreneur with an innovative mindset. OVERVIEW

The company develops, manufactures, and commercializes multiplex diagnostic testing products. Applied BioCode has combined "digital barcodes" with immunochemistry and molecular probes to create a new, bio-inspired Barcoded Magnetic Beads (BMB) technology.

SUMMARY OF INTERNHIP EXPERIENCE

Performed daily research on multiple water treatment plants, reverse osmosis process, and nanobubble technology and gave weekly presentations to supervisors on innovating current technology. 


 Carried out laboratory and field pilot testing on nanobubble generator in the laboratory and in the field at various water treatment plants.

SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Identified user needs through usability tests to present established product specifications and design prototypes of medical devices to faculties.

Applied best practices in manufacturing, assembly, quality, and operations in developing medical devices by following cGMP and other regulations.

​

Developed a low-cost microfluidic device prototype that can identify 9 different UTI-causing pathogens in less than 1 hour at the point-of-care, using various devices like 3D printers and laser cutters.

SUMMARY OF RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Worked with Electrochemical Therapies (ECT) in adipose tissue and various biochemical assays to further development of inexpensive skin rejuvenation and scar treatment therapies in the future.


Evaluated various treatment parameters' effects on electrochemical state of live tissue when introduced to electrodes and induced currents.


Assisted the Principal Investigator with various experiments, data collection and analysis with MATLAB and laboratory medical techniques including photon microscopy, ultrasound imaging, mesoscopic imaging.
